The Old West

When I was a kid and we moved from San Jose to Nebraska, I thought about the wide open landscape and how the land must have looked long ago. Dad said we could get some horses when we moved, and we did! As a young artist I took inspiration from artists like Charles M Russell. He captured the visual but he also could make the viewer feel what it must have been like to be there. These events and living in Nebraska inspired me to paint the old west. My goal to make you feel like you are there and evoke emotion into the piece.
